Security & deployment
Clarity Routing is designed for environments where data control and predictable operations matter.
Deployment model
Recommended: Self-hosted service with customer-managed data storage.
Why self-hosted:
- Keeps sensitive data in your boundary
- Simplifies governance and compliance
- Enables predictable performance and auditing
Data isolation by domain
Clarity separates datasets by domain (your routing problem/use case). Domains provide:
- Isolation of training examples
- Separation of category taxonomies
- Controlled rollout and measurement
Retrieval layer
- Stores labeled items and metadata in your environment
- Uses similarity search to find relevant prior examples
Retrieval ensures decisions are grounded in your historical outcomes.
Provider options & failover
Clarity can use hosted providers with a configurable failover chain.
If hosted providers are unavailable, Clarity can:
- Fail over to another hosted provider
- Route to a private endpoint (for regulated environments)
Operational safety
- Shadow mode first
- Confidence thresholds for auto-routing vs review
- Clear go/no-go criteria before write-back
